While serving as the Director of Patents and Licensing with a Dow Jones company from 2000 to 2003, Jeff Fehlhaber’s newly formed Patent Department successfully implemented a series of initiatives that resulted in a dramatic increase in the number and quality of patents filed and awarded.  He has a number of granted and pending patents in the area of financial data processing and related fields.

    Fehlhaber is among those who feel that the world’s increasingly interdependent economies are causing the reevaluation of how success is measured, how value is created and a rethinking of how to gain competitive advantage.  America has long been a country whose success has been largely driven by innovation, even dating back to the days when agriculture and mining were the dominant industries.

    To retain our competitive edge, and global economic position, we must focus, more than ever, on maximizing the value of our innovation efforts.  In support of that effort, Jeff founded Mindvantage in 2006, tasked with serving as a resource for U.S. corporate and independent inventors, and perhaps playing a small role in helping America strengthen her competitive edge.
